Although Charlie is in a good position at the moment following all of his treatment it remains the sad case that relapse of neuroblastoma is common.  Therefore, should the worse happen in the future and Charlie does suffer from a relapse it is more than likely that we may need to send him for treatment in USA or Germany.  Treatment is expensive and can cost up to £500,000 depending upon where the relapse is sited in the body. 

It seems prudent for us to keep an appeal open for Charlie in case the worst should happen so that we will have some funds available if we need them.  If Charlie never relapses then the money will go to help other children who suffer this monster of a cancer through Families Against Neuroblastoma.
